Sooo I’m leaving for an european tour for the next 3 weeks, so I’m probably not going to be much around here.
But I’m sure I’ll be back with a lot of ideas for drawings or writings, since I’m always inspired while travelli g around~
See you all soon ♥
Remember how when Capaldi was chosen as the twelfth doctor everyone had this feeble hope that he would bring Doctor Who back to what it was because he was a film director and not the mysoginistic Moffat kind
AND THEN WE HEAR THAT HE’S REFUSING TO FLIRT WITH CLARA AND IS GOING TO BRING “a bit more gravity” BACK TO DOCTOR WHO AND "I didn’t want to be Doctor Who in a Doctor Who I didn’t like,"
I am punching the air right now.
I just want to say…
“…If someone doesn’t get along with James Mcavoy it probably means you’re a jerk. Cause he’s the nicest, sweetest, most talented, wonderful man. And if you’ve got a problem with James there’s a problem with you. He’s wonderful” (Jessica Chastain)
Or Joe Wright: “
"He’s got such an enormous heart. He’s constantly excited by what life has brought him. James comes from this kind of quite hardcore background but his heart is reaching to something so bright and sparkly and beautiful and that kind of contrast and conflict within him is really lovely."
James is an amazing person and a wonderful actor.
Interviewer: Stephen Holt
James in person is really lovely. Sweet, unassuming, down to earth and very, very, VERY funny, as you can tell. He’s a riot. And a great interview. I wonder if he ever worked in stand up in his early days or a comedy improve group. He gives an interview like a comic would, going from joke to joke. But of course, he was his serious side, too. And yes, he’s also humble, which is VERY refreshing.
Some can’t take his sense of humour but I love it.
AU where Erik and Charles are single parents and co-workers who meet at Comic Con (where Charles and David are comic lovers, Wanda and Pietro too, and Erik know absolutely nothing about it)

(30 movies ask) 10 and 19 ! (I'm allowed to answer too? :P Cloud atlas <3)
10. A film you love for its aesthetic
I think my answer is the same as sainte-inuit XD Cloud Atlas is definitely astounding aesthetically (and in every other aspect ♥ what a magnificent movie!). And I would add here Atonement, Anna Karenina (almost everything by Joe Wright, really), The Grand Hotel Budapest, The pianist, Byzantium… I will not enter in scenery and the likes or the list would be never ending XD
19. A movie you want everyone to know about
Again, Cloud Atlas as sainte-inuit said! That movie is so underrated, and it’s seriously a masterpiece.
Filth too. It’s a hard and painful movie at times and weird and hilarious at others but oh so enjoyable and fullfilling. Seriously, McAvoy’s best acting job until now.
The Road is a movie I think isn’t really known? And I loved it. Painful, sad post-apocalyptic jewel with Viggo Mortensen.
I recently watched The secret life of Walter Mitty, expecting nothing, and I was so touched by it. The message of the movie is so beautiful: turn your life into something worth living in reality, and not only in your fantasies. Slow paced but with the most beautiful scenery I’ve seen in ages and. I dunno. Go watch it. It’s so gorgeous.
Only Lovers left alive. A philosophic, feel good movie that will make you think about how wrong we humans are and how badly we do things and how beautiful our planet is and how much we messed it when we should have been norturing it and feeling privileged enjoying its wonders.
…can’t think on more now, but I’m sure I’m forgetting some ><
Thanks for both your asks!! ♥
